laptop vs. desktop computers

I know that I am a week late with this post, but I figured that late is better than never. After viewing the video "laptop vs. desktop computers" on www.lynda.com I am confident that my choice in purchasing a laptop computer was the right one. He really didn't specify that there is a huge difference between the two computer types other than their portability. I also found it interesting that you can hook a larger monitor screen up to a laptop computer when working at home. I'll probably find this information useful in the future.
